Website Owners:How do I submit a site for inclusion in the directory?All the information you need to submit a site is available via the 'Submit A Site' link on the top navigation bar. You firstly need to decide on the package that you want (the package summary will help you make this decision), then fill in the online forms and make your payment. What happens then and how long will it take for the site to be approved? After we receive your submission we check it thoroughly and view your website to ensure it is appropriate and of sufficient quality to appear in our directory. If it is accepted we will let you know when it is has been approved and if we decline your submission we will let you know also. If you have paid for a package and your site isn't accepted we will refund you accordingly (subject to our Terms & Conditions). The time taken to approve submissions depends on how many approvals we have to deal with at the given time across our various websites. We always give priority approval to those websites who have taken the higher level packages. But don't worry, in most cases your listing will remain in the directory for 12 months from the date of approval. What options do I have to get a more prominent listing? There are four packages for you to choose from, each of which has different facilities, as detailed on the 'Submit A Site' page. The package you choose dictates how prominent your listing is. How do I upgrade from one package to another? If you want to upgrade you simply buy the package that you would like to move up to. You are paying for us to check your new submission and your listing then remains in the directory from the date your upgraded listing is approved. Unfortunately, we cannot offer rebates for time remaining on any paid packages prior to the upgrade. We therefore recommend that you try and decide which paid package is the most appropriate for the next twelve months, before purchasing a package. How do I get my listing boxed and coloured? By purchasing the appropriate package, as detailed on the 'Submit A Site' page. How do I get my listing in the Featured Listings section on the results pages? By purchasing the appropriate package, as detailed on the 'Submit A Site' page. How do I get one of the profile pages? If profile pages are included in any packages offered by this directory, this will be detailed on the 'Submit A Site' page. How do I update my listing's details? You need to set up an account in order to be able to submit a listing and all your listings will sit under this account. You can manage your listings from within this area. Most details cannot be updated after the listing has been submitted and approved, to reduce unnecessary admin. Amendments need to be submitted via the form on the contact page. Please note that after approval we will only accept amendments where the information in your listing is factually incorrect (e.g. your company name changes and/or website URL changes and/or you stop selling products mentioned in your description) and we reserve the right to charge for this. How can I advertise on the site? Either via a listing or banner position. For listings please submit your site accordingly, for banners please contact us using the form on the contact page. Users:How do I set up a user account?You can take out a free membership by clicking on the Login link and then the Register link that appears on the page. What details do you hold on me? We only hold information that you supply to us and we store it in accordance with the Data Protection Act. We will not divulge it to third parties without your permission or unless required to do so by law. We hold data for the purpose of providing you with the user facilities that come with your account and to understand our users better, so that we may improve the quality of our website. How do I use the search facility? Our user friendly directory navigation structure will hopefully enable you to find relevant websites. We also offer a search tool, which enables you to search for listings based on keywords you enter into the search box. There is a 'Search Tips' box on the search results page, which will help you refine your search if necessary. |
